CONTEXT
Periodically, Starbucks hosts a large-scale internal meeting to bring together leaders from across the company—including more than 10,000 store and regional managers—to reconnect with the brand, their passion for coffee, their love for the people they work with and serve in their communities, and to immerse themselves in the strategies for company-wide success for years to come.
OUR APPROACH
Touch has produced every Global Leadership Conference for Starbucks since the company first hosted them in the mid-2000s. These events harness all of the integrated services Touch provides and engage every Touch team member.
We work with Starbucks on every aspect of the conferences, from city and venue selection through event strategy, goals and objectives definition, stakeholder alignment, agenda and content development, messaging, positioning, communications planning and execution to experience design, keynote, exhibit, and breakouts design and production, networking and social activities, community giving, food and beverage, entertainment, and post event sustainment and evaluation.
The results are events that yield major positive shifts in the culture at Starbucks, with multi-day experiences that include inspiring keynote sessions, breakouts, and community service experiences which harness the power of upwards of 60,000 volunteer hours for the host communities. Multiple 100,000+ square foot interactive galleries exploring relevant aspects of the company’s brand pillars with dimensional, custom designed exhibits are a regular feature of these events that create an awe-inspiring space for partners to fall in love with the brand all over again.
