Touch Worldwide is a Creative Communications Agency
Our interdisciplinary approach is grounded in strategic insights and fueled by our client's brand. We design and produce compelling video stories and transformational events and experiences that shape perceptions and shift behaviors of the audiences our clients care about most. For over 10 years, we've helped capture and tell the stories of Starbucks College Achievement Plan (SCAP) ASU graduates. Our work across client types—from corporate clients like Microsoft, Boeing, and Starbucks to a host of opportunity—and education-focused philanthropic organizations—informs the expertise we bring to every engagement.
We'd love to work with ASU.
Starbucks: College Achievement Plan
A first-of-its-kind partnership with Arizona State University (ASU), Starbucks College Achievement Plan (SCAP) provides the opportunity for all eligible U.S. Starbucks employees—called partners—to earn their bachelor’s degree online at ASU with full tuition costs covered. As of 2024, more than 13,000 students have graduated, with over 25,000 actively participating in the program.
Starbucks engaged Touch to help launch the program in 2014 with an event at The Times Center in NYC. Since then, we have supported the SCAP team in various recruiting and marketing efforts. We designed and produced a video story series showcasing SCAP graduates who are the real-life beneficiaries and living outcomes of the program. The video series continues to be expanded upon and used by the Starbucks internal marketing team to elevate the stories of Starbucks partners who have graduated from ASU.
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation: Frontier Set
The Frontier Set is a group of 31 institutions and state systems dedicated to narrowing credential attainment gaps for underrepresented students. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation brought these sites together for a five-year experiment to create a network that could go further, and faster by sharing and collaborating radically. Our work began with building the visual identity and visual language for Frontier Set, and expanded to producing annual convenings, and providing writing and design for a variety of communications tools in support of the network.
Along the life of the grant, it was important to share the learnings of Frontier Set. Touch helped shape the telling of the Frontier Set story—from the first annual report and website, to a legacy-edition of the website at the close of the grant that presents key learnings, videos, stories and resources from across the Frontier Set network and for use broadly across the field of higher education.
Obama Foundation: 100,000 Opportunities Initiative
The 100,000 Opportunities Initiative is the largest employer-led coalition in the U.S. focused on hiring opportunity youth: young people that face systemic barriers to employment and education. The coalition focuses its efforts on hosting the most impactful and effective city-focused and coalition partner-led Opportunity Hiring Fairs, or “catalytic events” in cities across the country as possible.
For each event our team has provided a range of strategy, design, and production services, from visual identity and presentation design work to video and event production design to logistics and onsite production at each event. But our work pales in comparison to the efforts of the corporate partners who show up at these events to engage the opportunity youth attendees, providing everything from resume development consulting to interview coaching, styling, and ultimately, jobs. Each event has helped to transform their host communities by providing thousands of jobs for attendees since the events began.
