Microsoft and Touch have been strategic partners since the mid 1990s. From the earliest incarnations of the Worldwide Partner Conference to strategic development of the Microsoft Partner Network to years of communications, content development, video, presentations, and design, our work has helped the company evolve and grow through years of change.
Hosted in Washington D.C., 2010 emphasized the significant advances that cloud-based computing brought to Microsoft and its partner network, along with the launch and opportunities that Windows Phone 7 brought.
This was the 12th year that Touch designed and produced the vision keynotes for this critical event, while our executive communications team assisted with presentation content for a collection of Microsoft executives. In addition to managing content for the Digital WPC web site and onsite digital signage, Touch also managed and produced the live stage and MPN sweepstakes, both of which took place in the expo hall.
2010 also saw a change in leadership for the Microsoft Partner Network. After 9 years, Allison Watson transferred leadership of the WPC program to John Roskill who led the partners through the week of vision keynotes, breakout sessions, and the amazing networking opportunities that made 2010 a conference to remember.
